Jonathan William Tara, age 36, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY. Jonathan was born January 20, 1986 in Santa Monica, CA. He grew up in Summit, New Jersey and Wellesley, MA and graduated from Babson College with a major in entrepreneurship, magna cum laude. Jonathan was also an accomplished golfer on the Wellesley High School golf team and won a Bay State Conference Athlete award for golf and academic excellence.
He started and ran an entertainment company.
He is survived by his longtime partner Gina Gikas and by his father and mother John and Mary (McGuire) Tara and his brother, Matthew Tara.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday February 17, 2022 from 5 to 7 PM at John Krtil Funeral Home located at 1297 1st Ave New York, NY 10021.
The funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament at 152 West 71st Street New York, NY 10023.
