Pricing Details for Our Cremation Services
- Local transfer of remains to the funeral home, staff services, securing of necessary authorizations, basic local transportation to the crematory, an alternative container for cremation and the return of the cremains to the funeral home.
- St. Michaels Crematory $500
- Shipping of cremains directly to family via USPS is an additional $300 charge.
- Shipping of cremains directly to a cemetery via USPS for burial is $300, plus cemetery charges.
- Direct delivery and licensed supervision of burial or cremains at a local cemetery is $675, plus cemetery and livery charges.
- Next-day service is available for an additional charge of $250.
- Certified copies of the death certificate are obtained from the NYC Department of Health via this office at a cost of $15 each.
- NYC Department of Health Permit Fee is $40.
- No viewing or services are included in the $3750 direct cremation charge. However, a two-hour memorial service is available at our Upper East Side facility for a $1000 charge and supervision during the memorial service for $200. Services can be arranged with clergymen of all faiths through this office. More traditional funerals including viewing hours with cremation following are of course available through this office, as are traditional funerals with burials.
- Private viewing of the remains (No preparation, no casket, 30-minute max.) is an additional $750 with required topical disinfection charge of $475.
- Scattering of ashes at sea is available for $400 on up. Scattering takes place off Long Island, NY.
- Wooden, marble, ceramic, and bronze urns are available, starting at $200.
