With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Angelina G. Sepe, who departed this world on April 30th, 2026 at the age of 94.
Angelina was born to Anthony and Nancy Giaimo on October 1st, 1931 in Manhattan. She became a sister to Joseph A. Giaimo in 1933. She attended P.S. 183 Elementary School, Julia Richmond H.S., followed by secretarial school. She worked for Delacourt Publishing, then years later, worked in her family business at Sutton Pizzeria. She married Frank E. Sepe in 1968. She gave birth to her daughter Nancy Felicia Sepe in 1971. She was a devoted wife, mother and helped manage a family property.
Angelina carried a spirit marked by kindness, compassion and resilience. She loved her family dearly, touched countless hearts with a warm smile and good humor, offered a listening ear, and a generosity that knew no bounds.
A devoted mother, spouse, aunt, cousin, and friend, Angelina found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. She had a talent for drawing and fashion design, enjoyed going to family gatherings, dressing up and going out to dinners, walking and shopping in her neighborhood on the Upper Eastside and chatting with neighbors and friends along the way. When in Long Island, she enjoyed her time at the house where she had a front row seat to planes, pretty birds, squirrels and her "reindeer".
Angelina is survived by her daughter, Nancy Sepe-O'Donnell, her son-in-law Gene O'Donnell, her many nieces, nephews, her sisters-in-laws and cousins who she loved so much. They will carry forward her legacy.
Though our hearts ache in her absence, we take comfort in the memories shared and the enduring impact Angelina had on all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her life was a reminder of the importance of cherishing one another.
A wake will be held on Friday May 8th at Krtil Funeral Home 1297 First Avenue in Manhattan, from 3 pm to 8 pm, Funeral Mass on Saturday May 9th at 10 am located at St. John Nepomucene Church on First Avenue, between 66th & 67th Street in Manhattan, followed by a burial at St. Raymond's Cemetery in the Bronx.
May Angelina G. Sepe rest in peace, and may her memory forever be a blessing
