Ralph Novick, a remarkable individual who touched the lives of many, passed away on July 17th, 2023. Born on July 4th, 1930, Ralph began his journey working as a soda jerk in an ice cream parlor in the Bronx. In 1947, he joined the army, dedicating himself to protecting the peace. His commitment and dedication earned him the prestigious title of Sergeant, and although asked to stay on as a Corporal, Ralph chose to return to New York City to pursue his education at NYC University.
With a determined spirit and a drive for success, Ralph delved into the world of office building development, leaving a significant mark in the industry. Later, he embarked on a new venture, establishing residential housing developments through Quail Homes. Seeking fresh opportunities, Ralph returned to NYC, where he thrived as a Sales Director with Gilbert, Charles, Beylen in the city's new development market.
“Dare Devil Dad” zest for life extended beyond his professional achievements. He was an adventurous soul, finding joy in flying planes, skydiving, boating and motorcycle riding. His love for these exhilarating activities exemplified his daring spirit and sense of adventure.
Ralph leaves behind a lasting legacy and a loving family. He is survived by his first wife, Helen Novick, and his current wife, Deborah Forest-Novick. Ralph will forever be remembered by his three children, Joy, Steven and Iris, as well as his four cherished grandchildren. Additionally, he leaves behind a wonderful brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and family who were an integral part of his life.
Ralph Novick's unwavering dedication, entrepreneurial spirit, love for his family, and thirst for adventure will forever be cherished and remembered by those whose lives he touched.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
