Christine Prendergast
PRENDERGAST-- Christine Joan, passed away peacefully at home in New York City on August 2, 2022. She was born June 18, 1948, in Amesbury, MA. She graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in 1971 and enjoyed a long career in New York, working mainly in the field of children's theatre. She co-au- thored the book "Theatre for Young People: A Sense of Occasion." She was artistic director for Breaking The Rules, a musical organization chaired by her dear friend Bob Dawson. Christine is survived by her brother Larry Prendergast, sister Pamela P. Hill, and by five nieces, one grandniece and seven-grand- nephews. A memorial service will be held in the early fall.
